Basically i've got a malossi delta clutch an i have brought the 3 set malossi clutch spring set, This set consists of three different types ( Blue ) soft ( green ) medium and ( red ) hard. i have heard a few people using the blue one's however they are such a bugger to fit. i was considering putting the clutch in the freezer for a hour to two so it reduces the size and makes the spring's easier to fit?? Any advise would be very much appreciated
Put blue springs in the standard clutch the malossi clutches aint any better than the standard its just the name they do the same thing!
How would i go about fitting them though?? As i've tryed it with needle nose pilers but dont seem to do the job.. Thats why i was considering freezing the clutch fo a hour or so. Cheers
get a hacksaw, cut a notch into a flat headed screwdriver so its like this __ ___ ./.././.../ /.././.../ /......./ /....../ /...../ fit one end of the spring right, then get the other end in the notch, put one foot on the clutch, now push down so you stretch the spring into position, get another flat headed screwdriver and lever the spring end into place once youve got the hang of it, its a 3 minute job
Piss easy to fit springs on a 50 clutch but 125's are a different story lol just a little bit stronger..
blue springs dontr just go into a 125 clutch.. you need to wiggle them in place.. neer impossible with the clutch assembled and fuck all goomd trying to lever them with a screwy.. you will end up with the screwdriver in you
