Someone tried to steal my runner vx 125 and they removed the key barrel. They also removed the front panel and disconnected the bigger plug out of the 2 which connect onto the CDI. The Cdi on my bike hasn't got an immobiliser, as I bought it like this from the dealership.

I re connected the plug that the thieves took off the Cdi but I've also come across 2 broke wires (see pic).

I've installed new battery and spark plug and but I have not getting a spark from the spark plug cap when I disconnected the cap and try to start the bike. So I'm assuming it's cdi related or something to do with the 2 broken wires which I don't know where they connect to.

I can still turn the bike on with a flat bladed screw driver and all electrics go on etc. Sounds like it's going to start but doesn't.

Check the back of the ignition switch, where the key goes in.
There is a 4 wire connector that goes to it, they may have come from there. If I remember rightly, connecting two of those wires alone will also light up the dash.

    Also check the fuses.

Thanks will have a look. It could only possibly be the blue wire in the top pic that could of come out of the ignition switch as the other black wire has a female connection on the end which looks like it plugs on to somewhere. Looks like it's coming from the headlight area.

Also, I wouldn't need a new CDI would I? As it's still the same Cdi and all the thieves did was disconnect one of the plugs on it

Highly unlikely you'll need a new cdi

Ok. I don't seem to be getting a spark from the lead that goes to the spark plug.
