Bought my bike with a snapped key (project) The snapped key is the only key and it is a ZADI key so not the original The bike will only start when this key is next to the ignition so im guessing it 100% has a chip? I have a company in Surrey who say they can take my snapped key with the chip and clone this clip onto a blank key which I can then take to a lock smith with my snapped key and they will be able to make me a working key from this Now can anybody confirm that this is true and also, the ignition housing is in a mess where the key has snapped, can I simply replace the housing without worrying about the transponder and the barrel?
