Gilera Ice

Can you still buy a new Gilera Ice?

 

As far as i know they stoped building them about a year or two ago

 

Funny that i just picked up a 07 piaggio ice in october. Picked mine up from j&s,maybe contact one if theres one near you,might be able to sort you out? Great little bikes.

 

there all imports thats why. they havent been avaliable in the uk for at leats 3 years now

 

is piaggio and gilera owned together, because everytime i order a part its gilera but i see brand new mopeds there piaggio? :wtf:

no i mean that the bike was intended for another country but was imported by j and s

thats how they get past emission laws etc

ive seen like 04 125 2 strokes runners come out of there before

 

whats crack then with 2 strokes that are quite new ?

my mate has a 06 reg aprilia mx125

 

the newer geared bikes have smaller carbs and restrictors to get through

italjet went bust, and gilera thought fuck it the 4 stroke is selling 4 times as well as the 2 stroke

in 2003 this was true a dealer couldnt shift a 2 stroke, shame they didnt realise what was going to happen
