Gilera Ice.......Thinking about buying one......

Right, c'mon then, your opinions please.
I'm thinking about getting this particular scoot because it has a blown piston so will go cheap.
However I have a piaggio zip engine with the 70cc upgrade on it that will fit straight in, wheels and all.
Just wondering what you all think. Good, bad and ugly please.

 

Strip the plastic bodywork off, give it more of a 'street fighter' look with twin chrome bowl headlamps, traditional motorbike indicators and some foot pegs instead of the footplate and I'd ride that. I'd also try to cut and weld the handlebars, to give it more of a 'clip on' café racer look though.

 

Ok, like that idea.
Plenty of different handlebar styles to look at.
