well guys, turning 17 next week and im about bored of my little 50 engine... I've got a mate who has just passed his full bike test and hes selling me his old 125 4t piaggio zip drum brake oil cooled for 100 quid... basically the panels are shite and the tyres are bald but its mechanically sound, i had it in the garage and measured the engine mounts and found it will go in with a little persuasion, also my rear wheel fits the engine which is a bonus so i will have a matching set... both engines are drum so i wont have to bugger about converting that, so its just a case of fitting and wiring it up, should be pretty straight forward right? i haven't bought it yet but il let everyone know how its going... ANY ADVICE?
no replies? come on guys! i thought you would be buzzing about this! also just a quick question... if i dont want to reg it as a 125 as it will be a modification so if i was to grind the engine number out would it still go through an mot?
