gilera dna water pump

    hi i have a gilera dna 50cc i have gone through two water pumps since i rebuilt it.

    here are the specs:
    doppler s7r 70cc kit
    top racing crank
    stage 6 bearings and seals
    stage 6 replica pro exhaust
    standard box with polini air filter
    stage 6 clutch bell with standard clutch
    7gr and 3.5gr rollers with standard variator
    lighten front pulley
    unlimited cdi
    ngk ht lead and cap
    17.5 carb with 80 jet

    could anyone help me why it keep doing it and how i can stop it from breaking

    Simply because your water pump is constantly having to strain itself to keep the engine cool.
    The only way you will prevent this from happening is getting rid of your upgrades

    install a electric water pump and remove the standard mechanical one as it will be no use with your set up

    The std water pump will work fine with your engine set up, you must be doing something wrong for it to keep failing, remember you don't need to strip engine to replace water pump/ seal!
