Can't get the seat to lock down. The latch is working and releases ok the loop on the seat doesn't seem to be going far enough down to lock.
Anyone know if the latch is adjustable as I suspect it may have dropped down a bit??

Make sure the bolts on the lock side are up tight and it is sitting flush.
You might be able to put a couple of washers between the seat base and loop to lower it a bit if all else fails.

Unfortunately the loop is rivetted on and just the loop pokes through from the inside.
I'll just have to strip all the rear bodywork off and have a look.

Sorted. Everything was done up tight so the only conclusion I could come to was the latch had bent over the years.
There is a convenient hole behind the latch and between the rear of the frame so I inserted a lever and pulling backwards managed to move /bend the latch forwards slightly which had the effect of pivoting it upwards a few mm just enough to engage the loop. ;)

Just need to get the brake light working now and it's ready for an MOT.
It's been lying for over a year so I suspect a bad connection somewhere. Probably simple but it's finding it. o_O
The brake switches are now working and I have an electric starter :D
