After months of messing about I finally bought the bike, it's in shit condition.

    Problems so far:
    No keys
    Slushy stuff in lc
Some of the fairings are cracked
Fake petrol tank hinge is snapped
    Speedo is cracked
    Paint job is shit

Btw does any one know how to start it without a key, I saw a post on hear saying you have to disconnect the white box coming from ignition. And kick start it but nothing happening when I try?

If it's the same as piaggio starting, Take pans off behind the key there's either a green or black round part with a cable in it, Clip round it pull that out and turn it then should start.

No, the person I bought it off lost it, it's got all the documentation.

Yep. Kicking it is always best when first geting a bike to work, Can 90% of the time tell if there's compression etc.

    Hello Qwerty,

I don't know if you're still following these posts, but I am new here and after reading about your problem starting I wanted to reply with a possibility. I own a DNA 50 also and once after taking it apart and reassembling it, the bike would not start. I tried everything...I replaced nearly all the ignition parts....still...nothing. After weeks like this I was at it once again...kicking the bike till my feet hurt..and then I remembered something and tried it:
I disconnected the green wire going to the rev counter/dashboard and...wouldn't you know it...the first time I kicked after that the bike started!

Try that. I hope it works for you like it did for me. I know how frustrating a bike not starting can be!!!
