Hey, Im new here. I've been searching around the web on how to change the exhaust on my gilera dna, seems simple until it comes to the point I gotta change the jet on my carb.. which is hmm confusing as im not really an expert with mopeds. I would like some help if anyone knows how to.. ALSO what exhaust would you recommend me? thanks /b :mod:
Are you having problems with the technical side of doing it or actually picking the right jet? We have lots of guides and information on the forum. Read through http://www.scootershack.co.uk/guides.html and use the search to find answers.
I've never reall changed anything to my gilera, but want to start since i will be riding on the roads by 10th of may and would love to change the exhaust of my gilera as the old one is all rusty and looks like a big poop, I dont really want exhaust for the performance but something that looks better but don't really mind any of both, but I get confused in what exhaust to choose and what size jet i will requiered also if its a hard job to do as im inexperienced.
Good idea is to buy a Haynes manual for starters. http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/18442576...de=asn&creative=22206&creativeASIN=1844257657 And as I said read through and use the search. http://www.scootershack.co.uk/newbie-scooter-tuning/scooter-carburetor-jetting-guide-t2747.html http://www.scootershack.co.uk/scooter-tuning/exhaust-barrel-matching-guide-t2948.html http://www.scootershack.co.uk/carbguide.html
