Hi I'm struggling with repairing a water pump shaft on my gilera dna 50 so thinking ill maybe remove the engine and split it to do a full repair. Engine removal is new to me so how difficult is it and will I need special tools when I split the engine?
Ive posted other threads about the waterpump repair, looks a pain. Ive spent a productive two hours taking the engine off, sat on a workbench and im staring at a black pitted piston. Time for a health check i reckon.
