    Hi,

My DNA's clock / speedo / rev counter thingy has decided to stop working.

Went out today turned her on and it was just dead.

Bike starts and runs fine, no probs with a dead battery, checked the 4 fuses under the seat and none of them have blown, all lights and indicators work.

    Any suggestions?

It was fine yesterday and the bike hasnt fallen or anything between now and then.

check the multiplug connecting the dials to the main loom. sometimes the the connections in the multiplugs can corrode. especially on old bikes in winter with all this salt on the roads.

look at the back of the dials and trace the wires coming from them, should find a multiplug close to it, unplug it and check the spade connections are clean (shiny). Had a call out on saturday night to a clio that wouldnt start, just wiggled the crimp on the starter and off it went, bad connection.

    Mustve been mate, thanks!

I took the visor part off to get at the wiring but kept the key in the ignition while i was doing it... Half way through removing it the display kicked in.

I took it off and had a poke about all the wiring to make sure nothing was hanging loose but couldnt see anything out of the ordinary so its maybe just slipped out slightly or something and me working on it has pushed it back into place.

    Thanks again.
