I have a Doppler S7R 70cc kit that my uncle tried to fit today but it wouldn't fit properly and was 5mm proud of the crank case :banghead: Does anyone know any know what the problem could be? Do I need to modify the crank case? cratch:
Then he must be doing something wrong. That kit is a direct fit. No case mods needed. Please make your topic title relevant.

Has he built 2 stroke automatic scooters? File what down? It should have some sort of base gaskets to set the squish so should have some room to pad it out. Otherwise if it's still not fitting and it's defiantly a piaggio kit then it may be a casting defect or something of the sort. Cheap kits quite often have dodgy finishing.
Yes he has, as well as geared 2strokes. The kit should just slide on but when he tries he says it's almost like it's hitting something. Any ideas how to solve this issue?
