gilera 172 exhaust

please dont shout at me but ...how would a 172 runner run on a standard exhasut ...as the pigs are getting to know abit about bikes

 

I had a pm52 on my vespa 172 then switched back to a standard pipe, i felt that the mid to top end performance was better with the standard pipe

 

apparantly standard exhausts give better back pressure so would be alot better for wheelies and acceleration ect.. and they say a 172 with a standard pipe still gives off a fair bit of bhp, why have a 172 though if your just gunna have a standard exhaust,.. you might aswell go all out and just fob the police off thats its just a smart exhaust but just adds noise lol? haha

 

Cos police are getting strict and I dnt want to chance it and am guna sell it in a couple of months for a new 125

 

Ive got one on my 172. They do a pretty good job IMO

 

and they look awfful and stick out so much

 

A chrome pm59 does not look awful imo.. Up to you what you prefer though id rather have the noise of a 59 over a standy lol..
