If your 17 or older go for your full bike test, the twist and go one really is a waste of time, do it right do it once!

Then you too can have no L's like me (the bikes look better aswell) :pimp:

The test is part of the course from a school, if you can operate geared motorcycles then you won't have a problem. The test takes about 40 minutes with you riding a geared 125cc Motorcycle. Many Bike Training Schools will cater for you individually dependant on your level of ability and experience, for example "per hour training" or a 2 day course with the test included.

    What tweak said!

I went with the intention of doing a 2 day course and eventually just had 2 hours lessons then my test.

think you can but it's pretty pointless, may aswell do the full test as its identical but gives you the option to ride a geared bike in the future.

well if your 16 you can actually do your full 50cc moped test... that allow's ya to have no l's and carry a pillion

from 17 there is a really pointless test... that restricts you to a 125 but you can have no l plates and a pillion, or an auto test which restricts ya to 33bhp for 2 years on any auto bike at all and then uve got ya 33bhp geared test, and ofcourse direct access :pimp:

#1 - the auto test will cost pretty much the same as your full (A2) test

#2 - if you do an auto test then decide in 10 years time that you want an r1 or a supermoto then you have to go through the bullshit again (same test but by then probably harder)

#3 - i got a full motorcycle license sounds better than i've got an auto motorcycle liscence. don't even think you can ride a c90 on an auto (no great loss there admitidly)

personally i would domy full test if i were you (you can't do a direct access until you are 21)
