    hi

i dont have a clue about tuning but i do know the basics about bike engines and i was just wondering if any one could help me to get the top possible speed out of my ped!?

i know i cant ask for much out of a 50cc but i have to drive on main roads every day to get to work and a little more speed would be great! and help much appreciated thanks.

Start with de-restricting, performance exhaust, then free flow air filter and upsize the carb jet.
That's about the easiest way to get abit more power and won't cost a bomb to do.

once you start tuning the geared 50's it's important to use longer gearing (a few less teeth on the rear sprocket or perhaps an extra tooth on the front one) otherwise they tend to start over-revving at top speed- as standard the gearing is set up so as the bike only just has enough power to make maximum safe rpm's in top gear so you need to re-gear after doing any tuning work :)
