gear up kits add lots of speed?

i have the stage6 MK2 70cc and my bike revs really high at top end , how fast will a gear up kit make my bike go? anyone have one and how fast does it go? cheers

 

you dont really see much more top speed im not sure maybe 5-10 mph it just keeps the revs lower to stop the bike revving so high, so it helps the engine from blowing up

 

Stage6 kits are meant to rev high?

 

i think they give a lot of improvement for the engine.. surely its worth since standard ones get fucked my the use and do a weird noise..

 

is the weird noise like a metal rubbing against metal sound? coz that happens on mine and is soo annoying , thanks people

 

yeah if the gears are a bit fucked it can sound like that.. mine sounds too

 

Some of the gear up kits are giveyouaheadache noisy by design aswell which is worth noting..
