Im currently looking into getting a gear up kit for my mbk rocket/booster(minarelli Vert) , the problem is it says when buying the gear up kit to count the teeth on the intermediate shaft hock: i dont know what this is but i know its in the behind back wheel Firstly does anyone know how many teeth are on the intermediate shaft on that ped,or could they tell me where to find it in gearbox secondly do i need to buy a secondary and primary gear up kit or just one???? Any help would be appreciated
First question: do you have a 70 kit on? The intermediate shaft, on my speedfight anyways, is the one in between two gears. You'll know what I mean when you have the gear box out. To your last question: it depends on what ratio you want to run i think. I've got a malossi secondary on my speedfight an the top speed has gone from about 45 to just short of 55. But I do have a 70 kit with exhaust and nearly a full piling transmission(excluding the gear up kit of course)
