I HAVE AN MBK ROCKET 98 with minarelli vertical engine , my bike was running on an 85 main with the standard air box this was ok but would cut out if i had the throttle on full for to long E.G. A long straight
I could only get about 40 on a long straight and that's with all my addons pipe,carb,70cc kit, variator blah blah blah but i was told this is quite normal for the model of my scoot and the only way to increase top end was with gear up kit.So I went and bought a gear up kit and fitted it also i thought i upgrade to an Doppler open air filter for a bit more grunt,

since then i have tried every jet size known to man from 80 - 120

90= doesnt start, when it does cuts out early
103= struggles to revs up and then cuts out when revs high
110=revs up then cuts out when revs are high
120= revs up then cuts when revs are high

its starting to make me think there's something wrong with the electrical on this bike $ ( or that maybe ive got the wrong roller weights in im at about 4.3grams at the mo!

I've wound the screw out a bit now and it works slightly better but still cuts out full revs, plus took my engine plate off and my front puley was loose so that definetly didnt help so i have replaced and re-tightened .But even after these changes it aint happening
Put a 135 in earlier for a laugh and the would start but would die if i put any throttle on

Will it need a different sparksplug? wamer/cooler not sure but i know a few people around here change plugs when having quite a few mods.
