well my baring in my gear box cover was gone and had a hole in and someone decided to chemical metal it back together :confused:hock:

i have a spare set of gears but they are from a rolling nut engine.

is there anything i can do with that to fix my bike ???

like just change the covers over ?

    thanks

    nope..... there different.

chemical metal on the outer face so not actually inthe bearing, just in the cover material itself? thats what chemical metal is for m8. if it worked whats the problem?

the engine with a clutch nut on outside

to my belief the benefit is that this bearing is alot easier changed than the one in the older style gearboxes ??

yep, the imput shaft on the rolling nut engine is better desighned and lasts alot longer (again the old shape is a bearing eater and a pain to fix)
