    Hi guys,

I am new to scootering although i have ridden bikes for 45 years (i am 61 year old). My bike for the past years has been a Honda VFR800FI. My daughter recently bought a Daelim S1 (125 4s) so I went out and bought (a couple of weeks ago) an Italjet Dragster 180 2s which are quite hard to find in Australia. I have purchased the normal goodies (yet to fit, still waiting for delivery on some) such as PM59 pipe , head, reed block, manifold, Malossi CDI, clutch springs, Polini belt and rollers, I also have a keihin pwk28 to fit. I bought from PM Tuning, although some bad reports on various forums, simply because they could supply all the bits I needed at a reasonable price, so far the service has been good.

I have read the forums, some good info contained in them, and I have a few questions myself. As usual with most forums a few people seem to put in most of the effort, in this case particularly Minor Confusion who seems very knowledgable whilst having to put up with the odd idiot or two (it is hard work sometimes). Will meet on the forums.

    regards,
    john

    Waxhead,

I am in Canberra. Yes Ebay. I had decided on a Runner or Dragster, and went with Dragster, it was the orange one in Sydney. It was on ebay the same time as the blue one with all the modifications which I bid on but was outbid. That blue one is still on ebay ???? at a price $500 lower than my bid, so do not know what is going on with that one (it reads good but I have a suspicion there could be problems with it and also problems with registration because it has gone from Melbourne to Sydney and now in Queensland). I asked the owner a few questions but he will not respond).

Anyway, the orange one was in reasonable condition and went Ok, so paid the cash and now for some modifications. They are a great scooter to ride, you will not be disappointed if you buy one although most parts will have to come from overseas.
    regards,
    john
