Help...........Ive just bought a 180 runner, stock, 1998, 2 weeks ago, it hasnt run properly since ive had it. running ok on half throttle but as soon as its full it cuts outs, then takes a while to start again. Ive gone right through it. Now it runs for a little while then spits and cuts out, it will restart after about 5-10 secs, then runs fine again for a few miles. Ive checked the piston and barrels, changed the crank seals, changed the fuel taps and fuel pump, cleaned the carb and jets and checked the float. Now i have chnged the fuel tap on the expansion tank to a free flow and blocked off the vacuum pipe, thinking it is something to do with the vaccum on the carb so i thought i would by pass it, now it runs a lot better than it did but still has this problem. Do you think its still the carb?? Has anyone got a 28mm carb for sale??
