    what are you using now?

its best to use semi on run in anyway as it helps bed the rings in better.

if its mineral oil then it will need to be drained as fully mixed with mineral may froth up and cause a lock in the oil line

full synth puts a protective layer on the rings which prolongs the running in period....

jsut use semi til its run in

aslong as its 2 stroke oil for autolube systems it is fine, probably chainsaw oil youve used or somthing similar.

yer the oil proberly reacted with the fully synthetic factory made oil and causes a lock, seizing it. surely you could have afforded some better oil instead of putting a kit on your bike

whats more important a 50 that runs well or a 70 that doesnt run at all :pimp:

yeh I wouldnt bother with nothing more than semi to be honest whilst running a sports setup, not worth it in my opinion, semi is more than enough protection for what you need.

use mineral oil for the first 300 - 500 miles then just add semi grdually into the tank, I never worried about mixing different types, never did my 70 any harm

I would advise though just for good peace of mind add a dash of 2 stroke to the first tank of petrol (about a capful)

the main concern you what to be thinking about whilst running a 70 kit in is properly fitting, make sure everything is properly fitted and lubed up you cant go far wrong then...
