Right i want to do my automatic test in 2008 sometime just so that when im 28 and decide i want a ped i dont have to do my fucking cbt!!! :w00t: right all i want to know is how much is it to do each test such as the full auto and the theory and what would i be looking to be doing? like things id expect what the examinier wants me to do etc i would like the pirces to be listed presentfully please such as: Theory- £? Full Bike Test- £? To rent a bike to use- £? For the actual exam- £? etc etc imp:
do it before 2008, there is a big change in the test laws and currently there are only 4 test centers in the UK which are good enough to do the new test, they are estimating a 6 month waiting list. imo you should do it this year, and do full test, not auto, therefore you can ride what you want in the future.
2nded! The bike theory test will be getting much harder after september this year, and practical next year!
well i am going to do my car test this year and was planning on doing the bike test next year ive done my cbt which is going to expire soon so idmy cbt and go for my full auto test ive heard the full auto test is fairly easy and after doing my car theory test id go do my bike one as im sure they are both pretty much the same so once ive done my car and bike theory is just the riding and driving left. any idea of how much EXACTLY it costs? cos i really want a car this year!
mine cost £200 all in for my test, an hours lessons and hire of the bike overnight.
no the test is like £50 but seriousely you need to book a days training before maybe you can ride fine like me... but you need to learn and do what the examiners do all this shit about doing lifesavers while going round roundabouts unerves me but you have to do it to pass your test i second or third or fourth what is said... do it this year.. there changing it so the theory is much harder and the test is in 3 parts :wtf: you be silly if you dont do it this year even if you wont have a bike for a while im thinking of doing my car test even though i dont want a car yet
right i will be doing my car theory test soon so once i pass that i will do my bike theory. as far as i know they are making the theory tests harder but as for the pratical this has not been confirmed so i'll the bike theory which will give me 2years to pass and then go for my auto test next year :bird:
If you're young then you might as well do the geared test if you can be arsed as it'll open up more options in the future. I'm knocking on a bit now (32) so geared bikes don't really interest me and I don't think my back could stand being bent over whilst riding. :emb: A few weeks ago I passed the A2 Auto test after having NO lessons!! unk: All I did was to learn everything that's in this guide: http://www.pug-club.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7289 The test cost me £60 and I used my own scooter. If I'd have done a 2 day course it would've cost me £300 then the £60 on top for the test.
Cheers mate i know the geared test seems the best option, but id just like to do the auto for now, so wait i can do my theory and go straight to doing the test? instead of this 2 3 day course sillyness?
he can't do gears?? seriously though, the tests are the same, may as well do the full one then get it out of the way rather than paying twice.
There's plenty of time for gears - if you're ina rush just do the auto test as you probably won't need any lessons. Just follow the guide and use your own 125cc scooter if you have one. imp:
the test looks PISS EASY http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/Motoring/Le ... DG_4022723 i may do it afterall imp: :bird: im beginning to like gingerbread man already! :w00t: you are a GENIUS :nerd:
Like I said in my pm, three people have passed the A2 in the last few weeks just by using that guide and I was one of them! unk:
