Hi, recently bought cheap aerox. It isnt starting at all so I stripped and I see that there is no fuel is coming through the hoses. Why is that? I Tried sucking them but nothing comes out, completely dry, I have petrol in the scooter. Any help is appreciated.
Ok I will try that and put fresh new fuel in. I am fairly new to scooters, especially Aerox. Does an aerox have a fuel pump?
no it works on vacuum from the carb (the little hose), if your cylinder/rings are really worn, maybe thats why its not getting fuel? has it compression?
Try disconnecting both the vacuum pipe and the fuel pipe from the carb, if you suck hard enough on the vacuum pipe you should get fuel coming out the fuel pipe, if not you need to replace the pump. Cheers Rob
