why didnt you just clean your own carb?
and check that there is not dirt or stones stopping the float chamber from sealing properly
if all is good check the needle thing inside of the float chamber then check the fuel pipe for splits or cracks

It's all about being methodical, it isn't hard to disect a carb and put it back together so long as you take the time to remember what you've done and know what you want to do in the first place. I'd check that your fuel hose is tight with a clip on it and that the float chamber bowl isn't being bled. I suggest researching it anyway as obviously some bellend you paid couldn't fix it right so you might as well save some money and do it yourself :D

if your gonna take something apart and are worried about how it goes back together or your likely to forget, take photos in stages on your phone ;)
