fuel gauge stays on full?

    how can i fix this, it doesnt go down just goes straight up to full and doesnt move, everythings connected underneath,
    also should the temp gauge move atall cus that stays on the bottom even when bin runnin for a while?

    see if the float in the tank is just moving about (inside the fuel tank, look down the filler hole) if its in a metal clip and moves up and down wiht the fuel then the sender should be working so check the wiring.. if its stuck in one position or the floats bobbing about it will need a new sender.

    it could be ether wiring or the sender itself with ether the float in place or not but this gives you an idea what may be broken first. chances are its the sender itself.. usually read zero fuel with wiring faults, but this is french wiring LOL
