Got a letter saying that i have to pay a £35 fine for not telling them a owner change on my bike which was written off ages ago They said that it was my resposibility to tell them that there was a owner change when i didnt even know someone had bought it off the salvage yard Does anyone know what i can do about this.....its not my fucking resposibility if the insurance comapny didnt let me know about the write off business
you own a bike you ether register it to somone else or register it scrapped.. insurance company can request the v5 when they write it off but usually its your fault.. wanna be glad there not doing you for a sorn aswell...
It's shit but ya gotta sort it out. Cost me £80 or so because I hadn't changed over the logbook with my mate straight away on the VX.
