Its a good idea but i'm not sure it's necessary, i can lock the front end on a scooter with 1 finger anyway, how much better do your brakes need to be?

and if they get much better then your'e going to start bending the front end (assuming you are using extremely sticky tyres.

more of an obsession for cosmetic purposes really cost will probably outweigh viability!

good answer. It depends on your budget but have you looked into getting your own wheels manufactured from scratch? or maybe using polished spoked wheels, that way you could use the hub from an old honda or something. not quite sure how the back will work though.

Its an expensive process and i wouldn't know whare to start looking for someone to do it.

for the other leg, you could have lugs welded on or in some cases you can put a left leg on the right hand side.

I've thought of this for a runner, may have a look at doing it when I get on, but as Wobbly says, you can lock the front with one finger, but then there is looks. Would look good.

Personally i wouldn't go with piaggio forks as they tend to be a bit chocolatey. I would go with something like X8R or possibly katana forks.

if you're going to this kind of level though, re-manufacturing forks to go upside down may be an easier alternative. although it would require a lot of measurements, re-calculation and swearing.
