front mudguards

i have removed the mudguard off my zip and have noticed that stuff can go up inside the front panel, i was wondering 2 things 1. is there and inner panel that can be bought to fit ie would and nrg inner mudguard fit and 2. would and nrg mc3 front mudguard fit withing the forks of a zip? or are nrg forks wider? im not fussed about mounting brackets as i can make the at work

 

the panel that fits at the top of the forks? i havent tried it personally but as long as there is holes on the underside of the forks i dont see why it wouldnt work though nrg wheels are a bit wider i think.

oh and your bike wont pass a legit mot without the mudgaurd on

 

i just measured a set of nrg forks the gap is 18cm ish

thats the inside just under the yoke. i can get more accurate measurements ect if you need i have a set of nrg forks pretty much next to my computer lol

just measured my zip forks and they are 13cm on the inside and about 19cm to the outside edges whats the size of the gap where the mudgaurd mounts?

 

nrg forks:
bolts are 10cm dead apart
the forks are nearer to 17-18cm on the inside and 24cm on the outside
the plastic bit itself is nearly exactly 16cm between the forks. 22cm ish at the furthest points

it might be worth just cutting the original tbh as the nrg one is hardly a straight swap in itself

would the nrg mud guard look to big on the zip wheels?

ah not sure whether to buy one lol are there any other peds with small wheels?

 

theyre the same size as typhs,ices,stalkers,skippers and vespas (i think) but theyre one of the thinnest which is probs what makes it difficult. what have you got agaianst the normal one lol

 

lets face it the normal ones are ugly lol i thought the bikes you have said are 12" wheels
