i took my bike to a garage a while back and they said they couldnt take the front disk brake apart to change the pads because it was solid stuck and wouldnt move? (the bolts ect)

someone said you dont need to take the full disk brake apart to change the pads?? is this true?

any help on how to do this thanks!

If your caliper has two bolts through the pads and these have corroded in then you'll have next to no chance of getting them out, you'll have to buy another caliper.

nope its not them, its a small one (cant remember where) to actully open the caliper, im just wondering if you can change them without fully taking apart the caliper

Put a picture up of your caliper.
