From SteveP - need help with VX125 - no spark

Greetings all,
Got a doozy in.
Old shape gilera runner with newish (i think) vx125 lump.
Apparently it has been running and was being used, although i am told it was bogging and not running right overall.
Well now it dont run at all.
Went through the electrics, they were a sight to behold as i'm sure you can imagine, cleaned all the terminals, fuse box included, found the engine earth and cleaned that and the area it bolts to.
Now i have all the electrics working again, it cranks over but no spark.
It has the malossi cdi with the immobiliser ring, which from what i can gather is supposed to have some kind of led light???? not on this bike.
Tried another coil and still no spark, put a new plug and lead and cap on as well just to rule them out as bad.
Need to check the stator plate windings to see if that is the problem but cant find any info about the values. Any body point me in the right direction please?
