    Welding a frame up.......
    at a notable stress point -
    obviously be noted by a tester,would it be 'allowed' & does the condition of the welds especially count.?.

    A good weld may not be found by some M.O.T testers ! I've welded my typhoon frame and nothings ever been said, suppose it's what's been welded.

    I think its like as long as its not a structural weld, it doesnt need to be done by a coded welder.
