This looks Un changed icu and ht coil Pick up coil resistance is Ht coil primary resistance is Ht coil secondary resistance Spark plug resistance ?? Can the electrode gap 0.5- 0.7 Main jet Pilot jet italjet formula 50 lc Starter jet Needle type 3sof (3rd notch from top) Pilot screw setting 1/ 5/8 turns out
Tested for spark & there is a spark Took off air filter covered with fingers to check carb was working As petrol did start to come out ! Throttle cable is still sticking so will Take off carb to clean 1 oil hose 2 petrol hose 3 rubber hose , see whot colour it is inside
Took carb off noticed Carburettor throttle return spring dry and worn out Tipped liquid out of floot Cleared the jet with the needle Now is see through . Un blocked started up . So now checking cooling thermostat for the open position hopefully Valve will open before boiling point . Checking the make of brake pads to order fresh ! Looked for two wires on radiator but couldn't see any Drain radiator hoses Fuel. Check vacuum opens diaphragm inside tap Re fit new filter Order with brake pads ! Next check air filter Measure the resistance between the terminals on the choke unit & plunger hasn't seized
im pretty sure that's meant to be like that the way it splits so panels are easier to take off ? just change the hoses and get a quick action throttle there a lot better than standard I think. if not a lot of compression id be looking at piston rings and gaskets etc not the head itself at first.
The brake pads are off LK2705 ajp rear springs inside glove front loose inside tray , on rear springs side nipple face forward . Front springs other side in . Engine started again but rev 'd really high to a point I had to switch it off

removed the handle bar covers ready for loading fresh oil need new sealing washers .Lift the reservoir away from handlebar attach a clear hose to the bleed valve bleed valve carefully pump the brake lever 3-4 times tighten the bleed valve then release the brake lever gradually .may use a syringe to avoid troublesome air locks
