fork oil, HOW MUCh

    right then im putting my forks back togeather but how much oil do i put in them
    there standard forks on my yamaha slider

    I've seen it in Halfords for around 7 quid I think mate.

    ye i dint know how much so i just put 75 in it and it feels better than before so i mite just put a bit more in then

    thats ok, i wouldnt have a clue, did sr ones the other day and they took 120ml
    supposed to be about 105ml
    bit more gives more preload, i think

    Nope, preload is why I added my ten pence worth to each fork leg, more oil increases the dampening effect...

    pedantic fucker, it gives the same effects because it reduces the ammount of compressable space in the forks.
