    because you need to have over 100 posts contributing to the forum before you can post ads in the for sale section.

    its to stop people just joining the forum to sell/scam people. they should be more established with the forum and members after 100 posts, its a good idea i think has probably saved countless people on here being robbed of their cash by scammers
