fly wheel

    got my gilera engine stripped down to casings crank and fly wheel to convert mechanical water pump to ellecy, i cant get the poxy fly wheel off :banghead: any suggestions wud be appriciated thanks

    fly wheel puller, pick them up for around a tenner but dont get a cheap one like i did, it sone how broke the threads and is now usless

    To remove the flywheel yes. Of course you need a couple of spanners to use the flywheel puller but i'm guessing you have them if you are splitting and engine down.
