7 year old 125cc fly The past month it’s been activ strange First issue was when I would turn the ignition key to find no lights or power whatsoever I found that if I rocked the bike the power would come on and it would start Once running it was fine without issues This issue has slowly got worse Anyway today it refuses to turn over It’s making a spinning noise but will not pop or try to even start It’s as though it’s either not spinning fast enough to engage the engine or it’s spinnig and the starter wheel is stripped (Again this has been a problem that’s progressively got worse ) My knowledge is very basic I have tested the battery which is probably around 2 years old (lead acid ) It’s showing 11 volts but now goes down to 6 when I try turn it over all lights dim when I try to start it up Should i try a new battery ? I don’t have a charger unfortunately though I can’t be taking it to my local dealer as I just know it will cost a small fortune but also understand I do need to spend money on a old bike Part of me is thinking get rid And get a new one The other part says it runs great when it’s working
