IV DONE IT, I HAVE FIXED IT!

So after many MANY posts on here saying i was having whine issues a few people got back to me and went through the 'Check list' and finally fixed the issue so i thought i would share with others incase they have or get the same problem.

The 'Whine' was coming from a Very bad L/H rear bearing, which in turn had made the primary gear (Smallest gear cog, which has your clutch on) All chewed up and the teeth were chipped and that made the second cog bad and it had a chain reaction to all 3 cogs in the gear housing.

    So heres what i did.

    1. Remove the Rear Wheel Nut, its a size 22mm Remove the wheel (Exhaust may get in way)
    2. Remove the CVT cover, mine were 5mm Allen Key Heads.
    3. Remove the Clutch Nut (12mm) Then remove the clutch.
    4. Place a pot under where the Clutch Bolt is.
    5. Remove the 5 8mm Bolts in the gear housing.
    6. Remove the gear housing SLOWLY, and the oil will drain into your pot.
    7. Remove the Gears and WATCH for washers on the left hand side cog.
    8. Check all teeth for wear and tear.
    9. To remove the Primary gear from the Gear Outta tap out with rubber hammer.
    10. If it wont move heat the area around the bearing and it should push out with ease.
Now if your going to replace the whole gear system then theres no need to replace bearings BUT if there was sideways movement in the bearing and excess noise but your gears are fine your going to want to change the bearing.

    1. Place Primary gear rod into the freezer for 30mins.
    2. Heat the bearing just a little NOT to much.
    3. Remove Primary gear from the freezer, and the bearing should slide straight on.
Thats just replaced the bearing, that caused me so much hassle and money so now its a case of putting it all back together. Just reverse what you did and you shall be fine, remember to place back on any washers as they come off and also to make sure you have a new gasket on the gear housing or your going to leak the fresh gear oil you have just put in.

For some very strange reason the Speedfight oil nut is level with the bottle of the gear housing so putting in nice fresh oil can be a pain in the arse what i had to do in the end was get a scaffold board, and rest it on a brick wall, then reverse the bike up the board untill it was high enough for 120ml of oil to go in. (I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS)

With the new oil in (I put 125ml in) put the bolt back into place and remove from your ramp, take it for a spin and you should notice the noise has gone.

The main problem for the 'whine' is worn gears from people not putting enough gear oil because well its a sod to put in with the stupid position of the lug you have to remove to put it in.

There could be other issues for the whine, but this fixed my bike and was simple enough to do with all the right tools. But once again please remember this was the cure for my bike but it may not cure yours so check all asspects of the gear housing, and variator 1st.

Hope this has been put in the right place, and maybe it will help others.
