Why doesn’t a malossi variator fit properly to a typhoon 125. The malossi variator comes out too far when put on.
u mean it forces the pulley out ? if so all the fins need lathing off so its a flat face if u mean the variator sticks out way 2 far it all wants shimming up propper
WHAT???? if the front pulley is sticking out the belt is not gonna run straight... it HAS to stay where it is.. you have not got the correct ammount of spacers in the rear of the variator.. that or its NOT a typhoon variator.
do u mean when u fit it with the thick washer behind it the crank splines go thinner and the varo backing plate teeth dont fit onto the crank? its because the crank is a standard crank, just tighten everything up and it will be fine if thats what u mean anyways
I mean the variator comes out too far compared when I put the standard variator on. I will change the washer behind the variator and see how it goes. Btw its malossi variator from my friends gilera runner sp125.
Did he give you the bar bit that that goes threw vari aswell or are u trying to use the standard one? That would explain ur prob as the one for standard vari is longer
