Fitting new bearings to an old crank

Hi,

I'd like to fit new main bearings but keep my old crank. How would I get the old bearings off the crank? If I'm lucky they will stay in the casings and not on the crank, but if they don't how can I get them off?

Don't know if there is cheaper. Doubt there is anything thats much cheaper

Most garages will have bearings out in a minute free of charge tbh

 

stick it in a vice , heat up around the inner race, get two big screw driver's and prise the bearing off
2 min job
