Well i passed my test today and i love it!!!

first problem = center stand hangs low, and scrapes when i tilt quite abit.
Second Problem = I rode for my first decent long distance ride alone today not really long distance lol 7 miles at about 40mph average. got were i needed to be sat down to watch the footy then got my gear on to go, oh bike wont start :/ just turning over not starting tried choke tried throttle yes brake was on i know how to start my bike!
tried turning over 20 times (kickstart) < weak battery

kinda weird sounds silly but i turned it on its side jiggled it around lifted front nose up etc, i know there 2 strokes can be very iffy lol

and it worked? anyone got any ideas?
    Its a 50cc ped yamaha neos :)

    try a new spark plug 1st :)

2 strokes wear plugs out faster than 4 strokes, and quite often amateur tuners/mechanics jet them too rich which fouls the plug up, which can cause starting problems...

Plug was changed 2 weeks ago
idle is on the urge of stalling so it cant be any more lean tbh

I think it could just be choke it was doing it this morning and choke helped
But i dont understand after a top speed 7 mile run and a 1 hour cool down it should need choke? tbh it cools down to ice cold in about 40 minuites is that normal?

if you take the oil lines off you will need to bleed the system to get rid of any air....

the oil wont affect starting anyway!!

yh it does sound like that and i wouldn't worry about 2 weeks meaning you have a safe margin of plug fouling... if it is jetted wrong etc. to rich, in some cases it can turn a 1 kick ped into a 4 kick ped in a hour or two...eventually it wont start and wcan lose power and cut out unexpectedly lol (used to happen all the time to my 1st bike and it was set up by a shop o_O)..hav you had a butchers at the plug...i don't know what you do or don't know but look for a black oily mixture..if it is plug fouling the whole plug will normally be black.. on the thread of your plug and on the insulator (white bit..when new) electrode (tip bit)..if so you CAN clean it but i would just get a new one so you can jet it right..if this sounds a bit 2 much for you..take to a shop? give that a go bikes do al sorts of fuckeries sumtymz lol

it only tend to do this if its realycold or i leave it for more than 3 days without a run tho,,, i tryed electric start for about 50 tuns then shock it at the same time and lifted it up, whommm it started,, seams fine now tho... let me know if u figure it out ,, dosent bother me ,i just get up early and check its starting lol so if i have to take the airfliter off and squirt some coldstart in i will have time lol

with old vespas, if you tilt the bike to the right hand side it will start in any temps without choke, maybe somthing similar is happening here and your choke is gone?

yeah but if it wasnt working that would explain it starting after moving the bike to an extreme angle
