First post but need help..piaggio nrg

Hi everyone, this is my first post.
My names Adam, I’m 16 and ride a 2013 piaggio nrg power.

my dads looked at it and it looks fully derestricted, variatorwasher, exhaust, secondary air flow…I get 50mph on flats.

In the wet the other day I came off and snapped my exhaust, it was tacked up with a mig welder but then felt like it was restricted, and would only do 30mph max. We cut the pipe in half again on the welds and it was like normal, so bought a second hand Leo vince TT.

Fitted exhaust and was the same, jetted from 60 to 70 in 0.2 increments but still stuck at 30mph. It flies out from 0-30 but then won’t go over?

This is what’s been done since coming off..
Carb off and put through ultra sonic bath
New plug
Exhaust-welded and then replaced with Leo vince
Jets changed from 60 to 70 maxes out speed at 30mph
Rollers checked and look ok but got some 5.5G on order from pedparts.


Is there anything else we should be looking at?

Did you check the Leo vince hasnt got a restrictor in it still.

even sports exhausts come with a restrictor fitted so they are classed as street legal, of course everyone removes them before fitting.
