right im gna start plans for the first ever (roadworthy)sr172r ino what exhaust and everything that im going to get for it but. what engine shall i use sr125 or runner 125/180 i was thinking keep the rads and get a lc125 engine and fit a runner loom or i could use an aircooled engine and ditch the rads what do engine do you think i should use and would sr125 loom be any easier than fitting runner loom?
looms should be straight forward mate but the dif between the engines is the a/c easyer to carry out work on since theres no coolant needs draining and on the l/c its you will get those few more mph
oh i dont mind all the rewiring tbh just wondered if it would fit the frame easier and also easier to wire up to the clocks
from what i have herd, l/c are not any faster. they are just better for tuning as they have more consistant cooling. (read about it on here)
i cant find any ice 125/172 either, but its been done a few times. seems to be like that with conversions.
who cares if someone else has done it. its not like there is only one ever runner 172 in the whole entire world or only one typhoon 183 in the universe im thinking of banging a standard 125 engine in my runner aswell, cba with all this slow speed shit but yeh go for it mate, will be wicked
boo too late already checked the source of the image lol. go for the SR172 mate! just research into it alot so you know what needs to be don then there are no nasty suprises.
