Me getting home after picking up my Sym Fiddle iii on Tuesday 7th March I did my CBT a few weeks prior so this was my first proper ride out uninstructed and I was terrified. The Fiddle is a bit heavier and chunkier than the Honda we trained on and it was literally 20mph all the way home. A month later and I'm a different rider. Careful but considerate and I ride with the traffic rather than being a hindrance to it and I've gone from thinking why the hell did I buy this to never wanting to step foot on a bus again
We did say a month or two and you would become a more confident rider and it just shows. with the warmer weather now on our door you will have even more time to refine your skills and learn new ones to. Good to see you now enjoying two wheel life Kris
Yeah I really have taken to this and I'm like why did I not do this sooner... But yes, life on two wheels is great I do my house to my place of work in 25 minutes and it's 9 1/2 miles. In the past it was 10 minute walk to bus stop, then wait and hope, then 40 minute bus ride then 10 minute walk to work. I feel like I've got more time free for myself
thats the way to think about it Kris what a bus fare these days a good three quid upwards for a return, and in a scooter thats like near on half a tank lol and you get more miles, not lets stopping and starting picking up other folks to. Plus side when you leave off work you can make your own choice, beeline straight home, or go for a little wander and enjoy .
Feel ya mate.!!!!!! - 1.5 hours on the bus X2 every day kinda sucks a biggie.. - ...40 minutes both ways on the bike..
