    Came off last night.....

Had come back from work, then went and met some mates for my mates birthday.
Then went out for a ride, while my mate was in his 106. Beat him btw lol. I was riding down a road with chicane bollard things, and had a blowout at im guessing 55mph manage to brake and slow down to 45 clock speed, then i hit the chicane.
First all i had a large crack (not the best sound when you had to spend £300 on panels a month ago), then i was dangling over the handlebars and the rear wheel was in the air, i manage to 'endo' over the chicane/bollard and then manage to fully stop the bike.

Once i got home, i pushed it into my garage and had a quick look, i cracked a lug off (of the brand new panel i bought :rtfm: ) but can be fixed. I have a flat front tire (obviously lol). but luckily no damage to the wheel rim, also no other cracks or scratches, but im unsure whether the forks maybe bent or even the frame :msn1:

What are the best ways to check?

For some reason i forgot to notice this......

ride it, if tis twitchy/heavy at the front its bent in/out.. if it rides slightly sideways its twisted.

if you wanna do it properly take the pans off an messure point to point on ether side of the frame. any messurement you take on one side thats diff to the other means its bent. figure it out with the messurements and bend back accordingly

ta minor, shall be stripping front end anyways, well most panels.

Almost finished my Rizla panels :bird: (pics soon)

Also, would you reccomend a new tire? or can i repair this tire? theres loadsa tread left and don't really want to be running a new front tire in in this weather.

chances are mate your bike will be ok if there was no significant impact.

the question is, WHY did the tyre "blowout", they have a much higher speed rating than 55mph. either it was overinflated, completely bald to the point it wore through or you hit something in the road.

A tear/crack its bout an inch long, but only bout 3/4 mm is leaking air. Might try to drill it through and plug it, worth a try whilst waiting for a new tire.

wouldnt plug it mate, its dangerous on a front.

sounds like you've hit a stone on the road or locked up on a stone breifly.
