Not totally sure why i'm putting this up as it isn't much of a project but fuck it. Was bought like this. Had a beast of an engine that went back in it's rightful place in a typhoon and no wiring, nothing really connected up just with the panels slung on. It's been sitting about for ages in all sorts of bits until we finally got round to building it up again and doing it properly. Didn't look like that for long! Don't have a pic of it as a frame but who hasn't seen a zip frame by now?! Here are a few pics after we slapped the 125 engine in and got it up and running premix styleee. Looms sort of put in place but not wired at this stage. Did a fuck load of wiring today as it's running an old shape typhoon loom converted so well you wouldn't know. Still a few bits and bobs to do due to missing a switch or too but should be finished the next time we get a day to fuck about with it. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- So so nearly there.

Re: "Fire's" lazy arse zip 125 project. did ALL the wiring yesterday..... moved headlight/changed clock wiring sand moved indi's. wired fuel and oil sender aswell as joining the rear light section up.. best bit is all the original zip fttings are intact, it looks like it was made for thejob/all unplugs the same as a 50 zip loom, almost untracabl conversion (if there ever was on) ant this one myself now..... back to ebay in search of a zip
Re: "Fire's" lazy arse zip 125 project. I love it! Makes me want to have a go at converting my zip. Are those NRG front forks you got there?
Re: "Fire's" lazy arse zip 125 project. there zip forks... nice an stock. stock wheels (both of em) the only way to do a zip conversion... so its still a ZIP once its converted.....not an nrg (ie using big wheels) steering lock works.. everything works.. its like piaggio made it
