Right the problemed nrg is now running fine. I took it to the shop and they said it was the electronic choke that was causing all the problems so now i have a perfectaly working bike but i think that the rollers are to heavy because my top speed it about 48-49 but it take me like 1/2-1 mile on a flat to get there. Does anyone know what the standered roller weight is i have looked in the search but to no joy. I also have a s3r exhaust and put it on my bike, when i first rode it up a fairly steep hill it seemed fine accel improved greatly but no room to test top end but then at the top of the hill i could not get past 20 nor could i get past 20 downhill. But i noticed that on the way up the hill id reach 8-9k rpm but on the flat or downhill it was about 7. So i went round the block and went up the same hill again but it struggled to get past 15. any ideas ive searched and it seems a srange one so i throught i better ask.

internets fudged so i cant check 4 u but all wrights of bikes standard rollers are on beedspeeds website ;)

sounds like you need to lighten your rollers and upjet , did the problems start when you put the exhaust on ?

yeah mate its fine without the exhaust just takes ages to get to top speed and i can only get past 40 when the heat rises to about 1/3 then it take anywere from half a mile to a mile to get to 49.

id of thought 5.5's wld b a tad heavy if any , but shld do nicely to see if it solves the problem , try fitting them and upjetting by 5% , your standard main jet size can b found on beedspeed to mate , probly wld b around the 64 mark thou (just geussin roughly)

mines got a doppler s3r and im running a 78mj for my air filter but iv got 4.7 rollers n it flys to 50mph, takes about 10secs as a rough guess.
the rollers provided when i bought it were 4.4s!

try 4.5s or 5.0 for the rollers , and about 66 to start on the main jet and work up until its running sweet ;)

do you have to take the carb off everytime you try a jet size because the nrg carbs are pritty awkward

dunno what sort of position nrg carbs are in butif you can take of the float bowl and youve got enough room to take the old one out and put it in without removing it then u dont

There will be abit of old petrol in the float bowl.
Nothing will fall out if you are just taking the float bowl off
