Final drive oil

    manual says 10/30 - don't have any - however I've got some 10/40 lying around - will that suffice

    Not 100% sure but my manual says15/40 oil and i have been told 10/40 would be ok so i think 10/30 might be usable no doubt someone will tell you on here.

    Yeah, 10W/40 oil will be fine. It just means the oil is a tiny bit thicker when it's at 100C, nothing to worry about.

    Main oil?,not the 2 year jobbie that comes in teeny bottles.

    Iv never even heard of gear oil so thin. I would use exactly what it says to use.
