What tools (such as syringes or hoses) do you use to fill the gearbox oil in a typical 4T 125? I am referring to the ones with the fill port on the side of the gearbox. I have my 1L container of 80W90 but it is not a "stuff it in and squeeze" bottle. It is a "measure it and pour" type. The scooter is a Scomadi TL125 (Euro 4) and will be arriving in a couple of weeks so I am getting my tools and fluids ready.
You are right - a couple of quid each... but you do have to be careful where you shop for the ones with a short length of clear plastic hose on the end... Google can get some very funny ideas of what "alternative" uses there are for that product!
Only just joined this forum, but I have a scomadi 125 euro4 and the manual does not match the scooter does yours mine is on a 2018 plate
That's... Ermmmm... One way.... I have a little squirty can thing. One with 2t oil and one with gear oil
Old squirty oil can with rubber hose on the end. As long as it gets in the box who cares how you do it.......
my contraption was designed to top up the gearbox on my mk7 Fiesta, admittedly looks abit o.t.t on the scoot... but it works
Last time i did it. I didnt have any syringe. It was cold and Windy as fuck. And the hole was really tiny. So i just measured the gear oil up beforehand. And folded some thicker paper into a triangular funnel. That fit within the holes small diameter. And poured it in. And compensated with a tad extra oil. For what was still stuck on the paper
